Our key Priorities

CEYOGE are to empower young people with the skills, knowledge, and resources necessary to lead independent, productive lives while fostering social and economic resilience. We are committed to promoting reproductive health, gender equality, and the prevention of gender-based violence among youth and young families. Additionally, we prioritize inclusive education and healthcare for vulnerable children, especially those with disabilities, and aim to raise awareness about environmental conservation and climate change. Through holistic interventions, community engagement, and capacity building, our overarching goal is to create a generation equipped to positively influence their future and contribute meaningfully to society.

Know Our Story

Our Beginning

Centre for Young Generation Empowerment (CEYOGE) started as a heartfelt response by passionate individuals committed to making a difference in the lives of young people in Uganda. Initially a small group of media practitioners and social workers, we came together in 2018 after witnessing the hardships, inequality, and vulnerabilities faced by youth in our communities. Driven by compassion and a desire to create change, we formalized our efforts into a registered civil society organization dedicated to youth empowerment.

Our Journey

From those humble beginnings, CEYOGE has grown into a vibrant organization operating in the Greater Masaka region. Our journey has been fueled by a shared vision: to see a generation of young men and women equipped with the skills, knowledge, and resilience to shape their futures positively. Over the years, we have implemented programs focusing on family support, youth empowerment, children’s welfare, and environmental sustainability, touching the lives of thousands of young people and families.

Our Purpose

At our core, we believe in the power of youth as catalysts for societal transformation. We are committed to addressing their unique challenges—whether it's access to education, health, employment, or protection against gender-based violence. Our story is one of hope, resilience, and collective action aimed at creating a society where every young person can thrive.
